Abandoned Church

£15.00

On a crisp winter’s morning I was at Rutland Water. While cold, there was no wind and a gentle stillness and calm radiated across the lake. Placing my camera on a tripod I took this shot of Normanton Church with a few stones in the water in front of me to provide a sense of balance. With a longish exposure and the serenity of the morning, I was able to capture a beautiful reflection of the church in the water. I have called this abandoned church, because the church no longer conducts services. It does, however, host events and celebrates marriages.
