Normanton Church

Ah, Normanton Church, what a delightful sight it is! Standing proudly on the edge of Rutland Water, it is one of the most picturesque landmarks in all of England. And yet, it is more than just a beautiful structure - it is a testament to the ingenuity and perseverance of humankind.

It was then that a group of determined locals decided that they would not let the church be lost to the waters. They launched a campaign to save the building, and after much effort and fundraising, they were successful in having it relocated to its current position on the water's edge.

And what a magnificent sight it is! The church seems to float above the water, its spire pointing skyward, as if reaching towards the heavens. The surrounding landscape is equally stunning, with the tranquil waters of Rutland stretching out as far as the eye can see.
